London's Sealing

Lately we have had a whirlwind of major events! There have been two weddings, and my personal favorite, getting London sealed to us in the temple! It was such a beautiful, amazing day. It was on September 3rd, in the Mesa temple. Braelyn got to be in the sealing room as well, and they looked like two little angels when they walked in the room wearing their pretty white dresses. There was an audible gasp from all our friends and family when they entered. Braelyn sat with my mom, and was so quiet and reverent (fear number 1...check), and London just smiled the entire time, looking back and forth between Britton and I! We all kinda chuckled at that...she was just SO happy! That word alone, "happy", defines her to a tee. She is just full of so much joy. The spirit was so strong as she became ours for eternity.

The man who sealed us was meant to direct our sealing, I just know it. Before Britton and I went in the room, he met with us, and asked about the situation that brought us here. We told him that we had adopted her, and her older sister (who has already been sealed to us). He told us that he had five children......ALL ADOPTED!!!!! It was a comfort to me know that he knew exactly how we were feeling, and what a rough road adoption can be...rewarding by ALL means, but rough as well. Overall it was just a beautiful experience!

Here are some pics of us afterwards, outside the temple.....

Most of our friends and family that were there, minus a few!

The next day, Sunday September 4th, Britton was able to give her a blessing in church. It was a beautiful blessing! Luckily my mom knows shorthand (yes shorthand...old school!!!!), so we were able to write down pretty much the entire blessing to keep in her baby book! Afterwards we had a little luncheon with family and close friends to celebrate! It was a lot of work, but so fun. I wouldn't have been able to pull it off without my sisters and moms help!

After her blessing....

I am so happy for you guys! That has to be the best feeling ever being sealed to your sweet daughters! They are so beautiful in their white dresses! They are lucky so have such a great mom and dad. We will miss being in the same ward as you guys, and Britton being our home teacher. We will have to get together sometime:)
